St. Stephens Responds to MVA

On Wednesday March 15 just after 10:00am, Station 4 was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area of Webb A. Murray Elementary School on Section House road. First arriving units found a single vehicle accident that struck a telephone pole with the occupant still in the vehicle. Station 4 secured the scene and stabilized the vehicle utilizing Rescue 42 jacks. Once the vehicle was stabilized, St. Stephens first responders assisted Catawba County EMS in removing the patient from the vehicle. The occupant of the vehicle was transported by Catawba County EMS to a local hospital. The scene was turned over to North Carolina Highway Patrol and Station 4 returned to service.
