On May 30th, 2013 from 3:30 - 8:00, the St. Stephens Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary hosted a blood drive thru the American Red Cross at the Fire Departments Headquarters. The Ladies Auxiliary helped the Red Cross by being blood donors, providing volunteers to help register donors, and to help serve refreshments in the canteen. The results from the blood drive are: 35 people presented to donate, 6 people were first time donors, 29 productive units were collected, and 87 lives saved!! Our goal was to collect 28 productive units. With your help we were able to exceed that goal. The Ladies Auxiliary would like to thank everyone who came out to support our blood drive as well as the wonderful team of volunteers and workers from the American Red Cross.

"On behalf of the American Red Cross and, more importantly, the patients and families that depend on your efforts, thank you. We are proud to have you on our team - the largest volunteer team in the world." - Red Cross
