| Deputy Chief Randolph and I took time out of our morning schedule to be with the K-1 students at Murray Elementary to help them with Letter Land Day. We were assigned the letter "F" for the day and everything that we discussed started with that letter. We spoke to the children about fire safety and prevention along with the many tools carried on the apparatus and what they were used for. Later on we applied a small blanket of foam for the children to be able to get into. The staff and children at the school were very appreciative of our participation and we look foreward to future events. |
