* BOARD OF DIRECTORS *

The Board of Directors for the St. Stephens Fire Department are the governing authority for the department, and shall govern the affairs of the deparment through the Chief. The board meets on the first Monday night of every month to discuss and make decisions in regard to the affairs of the operation of the department. The board consists of men and women within the community and a maximum of two active firefighers can serve. By utilizing citizens and firefighters, we can ensure decisions are made based on the best interest of tax dollars, citizen safety, and the safety of all of our firefighters. The board of directors are very seldom recognized for their participation in the department and community because they tend to take a back seat to the work the firefighters perform. On behalf of the St. Stephens Fire Department, we would like to extend our utmost grattitude to these individuals for their excellent support and the planning involved in giving us the best equipment needed to perform our duties.
